The 2024 Ford F-150 hybrid truck is now on the lot and ready to cruise the streets of North Dakota, available at Eide Ford Mandan!
In this third and final part in this three-part blog series, let’s take a look at the new design and style on the new 2024 Ford F-150 hybrid.
Explore the Exterior
Let’s take a walk around to learn about the exterior of the F-150 hybrid.
The body and bed of the truck are engineered of lightweight, high-strength, military-grade aluminum alloy, which reduces weight as an effective way to increase payload capability.
The exterior has been revamped, with stylish grills, headlamps, belt-line trim, and fender molds, giving it an up to date appearance.
The fog lamps have LED lights, and there are available LED Dynamic Bending Headlamps, that adjust for clarity around curves. The wide beam helps you see what’s off to the side of the road, making sure you always see what is ahead of you.
Throughout the truck, there are 3 outlets - some in the cab and some in the box. You can monitor and check the wattage that is being used via the SYNC 4 screen in the cab, and the FordPass app.
Moving to the back, there is a driver approach swing gate, allowing for easy access into the bed of the truck. It is the only pickup in its class to offer a 100-degree fully opened integrated tailgate. This allows for enough room to easily gain access into the bed, even when hitched to a trailer.
A Stunning Interior
Now, let's hop into the front seat and check out the interior of the F-150 hybrid.
When you are driving, the head-up display projects the speed limit, your current speed, and any additional driver-assist details in your line of sight, which you can customize to fit your needs.
Through your steering wheel controls, you can view and adjust your trailering menu, driver assistance features, and the head-up display.
In the center console, there is an available interior work surface, so you can work on the go.
Moving into the back, there is additional storage. Underneath the back seats can fit smaller items, or you can flip up the back seats to fit larger items.
“The F-150 hybrid has a self-sustaining aspect that makes it a good vehicle for cold weather,” says Merlin Haugen, Sales Consultant at Eide Ford Mandan. “It is not all reliant on all electric, and switches between gas and electric as needed. Plus, you can feel the power, and it is a great vehicle for towing. We are proud to be able to supply hybrid trucks to our customers here in Bismarck and Mandan.”
We know hybrid vehicles can be a touchy subject, but we hope that through this 3-part blog series, you can see the growth that hybrid vehicles have been making, and the benefits of them, even in our cold North Dakota winters.
