Happy Retirement Dale! Thank you for all you’ve done!

Dale Frost is one of our Parts Advisors at Eide Ford Mandan. He has been working in the automotive industry for 45 years, starting in 1979. In 2001, he started working in this building as a Parts Advisor, and this April he is retiring, after 23 years with us!

At the beginning of his career, he started selling Ford parts to dealerships around North Dakota for 22 years. His knowledge of the Ford brand through his years of experience has helped our dealership immensely. Todd Bosch, Parts Manager at Eide Ford Mandan, says “He has taught me more than I have ever taught him.” This statement speaks volumes to how much Dale has impacted Eide Ford Mandan, the Parts Department, and the other advisors he has worked with through the years. 

“I like working in the automotive industry because I've always liked cars, especially older cars, so working in parts I get to see a bunch of different vehicles,” Dale says. 

“What I like best about working in the parts department is being able to meet many different people. I have loved working with the shops around town, because through my years in this position I have been able to develop many friendships with those I work with. The people in Bismarck and Mandan are very friendly, and being a part of the community is amazing.”

“Working for Eide is awesome. I always enjoyed working with them in the past. They are focused on their employees, and I have seen the growth of many people the last few years. The management is easy and fun to interact with, and I appreciate how they treat all of us like family.”

“We are losing a lot of experience and knowledge about Ford, but we are happy for Dale and that he is able to retire,” says Todd. “He is always happy and in a good mood, and has been a very important person in the dealership. He will be greatly missed.”

“Dale is irreplaceable,” says Adam Griffith, General Manager at Eide Ford Mandan. “He is going to be missed by all of us here. We are happy and excited for him and his upcoming retirement, he certainly has earned it. We wish you nothing but the best.”

Dale is excited for retirement, because he and his wife are retiring at the same time! They will spend their time traveling to see their kids, grandkids, and parents. Dale also enjoys hunting, fishing, and riding his motorcycle.
