Meet River Kinworthy: Master Technician!

We are excited to introduce you to River Kinworthy, one of our Master Technicians at Eide Kia! 

River joined our team in 2021, and has worked as a vehicle technician on both Ford and Kia models. 

He always liked cars, and liked knowing how things worked. In his younger years, he would spend time working on his own vehicles to fix them up, and taking them apart to learn more about them. “I like working in the automotive industry because I get to learn more about how engines are made and how they work, and there is always something more to learn to be able to get vehicles back on the road safely.”

“There is never a boring day in the shop,” River says. “Every day brings something new, and we have a great team working together to keep the shop running smoothly.”

“I like working at Eide Kia because of the people that I work with. The management wants to see you succeed and they truly care about you. They sent me to training and to get certified as a technician, and I am extremely thankful for that.”

The Eide Kia building is in the process of being remodeled, so our technicians have been working out of a temporary shop. “I am very excited about the new equipment, and having more space for more technicians. The new shop will help to improve our productivity, and boost our work morale. We are ready to move in and to be able to help our customers even more in the near future.”

In his spare time, River likes to work out, run, and go to the shooting range. 

“River is one of our top Kia technicians, working on engines and recalls. He can do it all, he’s a jack of all trades. He is a leader within the shop, and he has a bright leader here with the company. We are extremely thankful for everything he does!” says Adam Griffith, General Manager at Eide Kia.
