Model Overview
The 2024 Kia Sportage is available in seven different trims, LX, EX, SX, SX-Prestige, X-Line, X-Pro, SX-Prestige and X-Pro Prestige. The new Kia Sportage Hybrid however is only available in the LX, EX and SX-Prestige trims.

The Sportage is powered by a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 187 horsepower mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The hybrid Sportage is powered by a 1.6-liter intercooled turbocharged 4-cylinder that produces 177 horsepower mated to a 6-speed automatic.

Even base Kia models tend to be pretty well-equipped, and the Sportage LX is no exception. Some surprising standard features are available on this vehicle 17-inch alloy wheels come as standard equipment as do LED headlights and daytime running lights, power adjustable outside mirrors, a rear spoiler, body-colored door handles, Apple Carplay/Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity, a backup camera and steering wheel mounted audio and cruise controls.

The SX trim adds a power liftgate, a power sunroof, roof rails, heated power folding mirrors, 18-inch wheels, heated front seats, driver seat memory, reading lights, an upgraded 8 speaker sound system, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, and a navigation system.

The SX-Prestige trim adds LED front fog lights, ventilated front seats, roof rails, 19-inch wheels, 8-speaker sounds system, front and rear parking sensors, and surround view cameras.

Standard safety features across the whole Sportage lineup include rear parking sensors, an active lane departure warning system, forward collision mitigation, a pedestrian detection system, a driver attention alert and 6 airbags. The higher trims also include a traffic sign information system, active blind spot warning, exit warning and front and rear parking sensors.
