My first visit came after a long online search for JUST the right used KIA Telluride at the right price — and Eide Ford had it. Merlin Haugen is a gem of a human being, and the whole purchasing experience made my long drive totally worth it. I loved that spacious Telluride, and even took it camping with plenty of room for a comfortable air mattress bed and all my gear! When my transportation needs changed and my heart missed the KIA K-5 I'd traded in, I found a brand new Runway RED K-5 online — at Eide Ford again! Merlin greeted me warmly, gave me a fair and easy payoff on my Telluride, and I drove home in my beautiful new leased K-5 with just 4 miles on it — all shiny with heated seats and every comfort. Merlin even gave me the grand tour of their gorgeous new facility and introduced me to the staff — I truly felt like royalty. Seven months later, my Runway RED K-5 is still a pure joy to drive on the scenic back roads of the Wyoming ranch lands, and looking as gorgeous as the day I drove it off their lot. If Mandan weren't such a long drive from home, I'd visit Eide Ford in a heartbeat just to say hello. Thank you, Merlin and the whole Eide Ford team, for two unforgettable experiences. After testing numerous vehicles, one day I finally got out and looked at this Bronco Sport badlands with Tech Package. Ben S whom I’ve known for a while told me to come in check it out. The following Thursday I met with Merlin and he and I test drove it and I didn’t know much I’d love it. I was sold. I’m very happy with everything so for with how the process went from testing and learning about the vehicle with Merlin and the help acquiring it. Hope to continue a good relation ship with Eide Ford.

Ryan is a top notch sales manager and got me the best prices he could. They may not have the inventory that their competitors have, but they will find you the exact vehicle you want and do their damnedest to get it. They want your business and will do their best to keep it. When it comes time to buy another Ford, I know exactly where I’ll be going. 1/10/2026 update: I just bought my FIFTH vehicle from Merlin. Hands down the best Salesman in Bismarck and Mandan. Ryan is still awesome to deal with and they both made sure we left happy.

Buying a vehicle always seems to take a long time. However, working with Merlin and the other Eide Mandan staff members, time did seem to go by pretty fast.

Wow!! I had no clue buying a new/used vehicle could be so easy. Merlin was my salesman; he made the process quick and easy. Although the first vehicle sold from under us, he was able to get me into a 2025 Colorado Z71 with only 110 miles on it. Met me halfway and exchanged vehicles. I will definitely be back to do more business.

Our salesman called when inventories were in so we had a choice. Merlin Haugen had selected a great vehicle to meet our expectations. The test drive and feature discussion convinced us to buy. There was no high pressure sales, If you can, shop for your vehicle on a weekday, as the weekend was so busy that our buying experience took the whole day. Merlin and finance officer did their best to meet our needs.

Merlin is an excellent sales consultant and was very helpful throughout the whole purchasing process.
